Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) champions high-quality health care through its mission: IMPROVING HEALTH CARE QUALITY THROUGH ACCREDITATION. Pillars of the AAAHC Accreditation survey process: peer reviewed, consultative and educational, are a clear signal to all stakeholders of the organizations commitment to continuous quality improvement and the delivery of the best care possible. Mental Health & Substance Abuse, and Health & Human Service Organizations which organize and manage a network of providers, are eligible to survey under the AAAHC Accreditation Handbook for Health Plans and achieve full accreditation for Health Network Management. Similar to programs offered by: URAC (Health Network Management); COA (Network Administration or Network Management Entities); and CARF (Service Delivery Networks Accreditation Program), the AAAHC Accreditation Handbook for Health Plans is recognized by CMS, OPM, and many state and federal regulators. Other Mental Health & Substance Abuse, and Health & Human Service Organizations eligible to survey under the AAAHC Health Plan Handbook include: Regional Care & Regional Systems of Care Organizations, Managing Entities, Care Delivery Organizations, Coordinated Systems of Care, and Care Delivery Organizations, to name a few.
