Mona Darwich is clinical supervisor for outpatient clinic for the past 5 years, starting as a case manager in 2007 with La Frontera. Mona is a licensed substance abuse counselor; auricular acupuncture certified and oversees the care of over 1,000 clients with serious mental illness and dual diagnosis with 26 behavioral health technicians. Mona is also an Arabic interpreter for La Frontera and trains new employees on how to maximize their assessment and therapy sessions with foreign language interpreters working in mental health bridging the gap of culture and clinical care. Mona has a master degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona.
