Melissa Reilly

Melissa Reilly is the Chief Growth Officer for Evernorth Behavioral Health, leading strategy and business development. Grounded in a passion for measurement based, high quality care that supports individuals through every step of their health care journey, Melissa strives to elevate health for all. Whether through directing the development of strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities to expand Evernorth’s reach, or driving market strategy, her efforts are directed towards improving the health, well-being, and peace of mind of the members we are privileged to serve.

Prior to Evernorth, Melissa worked for an AI-based, venture-backed start up where she held the role of Vice President, Strategy and Partnerships. In addition, Melissa spent over a decade in several leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, most recently supporting the Optum Ventures portfolio as Vice President, Business Development and Commercialization. Before her time with Ventures, she was the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Behavioral Health leading the digital product transformation, championing the development of integrated offerings within the organization, and supporting innovation and enterprise partners across multiple lines of business. Melissa also held various product and partnership development roles bringing new products to market with key customers, and managing strategic enterprise sponsorships and alliances.

Melissa earned her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and Juris Doctor with a Health Law concentration from Quinnipiac University. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University. Melissa resides in CT with her family.
