Cindy Davis-Bryant, State Director for Family Preservation Services of North Carolina, is responsible for the operations of the 10 regional offices and continued growth within the state. She has been with the company for 10 years. Responsibilities within this role include fiscal management, program development; work at a state and local level with government officials. Family Preservation Services of NC is a CABHA that is COA accredited and provides a full continuum of care to adults and children and families within the state of North Carolina. The continuum of care includes mental health services, substance use services, and IDD services for adults and children across the state. Cindy has also served on the board of Trustees of Benchmarks, the trade association for providers in NC for the past 7 years.
Prior to joining Family Preservation Services of North Carolina, Ms. Davis-Bryant was the Director of Clinical Operations for Central Peninsula Counseling Services (CPCS) in Soldotna, Alaska for 8 years. Within this role, she was responsible for all clinical programming, clinical policy development and oversight of both adult and child based services for the agency. The services consisted of both community based and residential based services. CPCS is a community mental health program in Alaska and a mental health center that served the central Kenai Peninsula.
Ms. Davis-Bryant has had a long career in both for profit and non profit mental health services. She has worked with many populations, varying socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. She has valued each position for a learning opportunity as well as growth as an individual to constantly strive to do more and improve as it relates to supporting others in the community.
Ms. Davis-Bryant received her education at the University of North Alabama and the University of Alabama. She was licensed as a Bachelor Social Worker prior to receiving her Master’s degree. Upon completion of her licensure supervision, Ms. Davis-Bryant became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alaska, and now in the state of North Carolina. Her education in social work, family and child and adult counseling as well as rehabilitative counseling has been the foundation for her counseling practice and work throughout her career.
