Beth Rath is the vice president of network operations for New Directions, where she is responsible for development, maintenance and enhancement of network capabilities, provider performance, specialty networks, and Centers of Excellence. She oversees network management strategies that increase provider satisfaction, enhance provider partnerships, and achieve clinical, service and financial business goals. Most recently this has included the transformation from volume-based fee-for-service reimbursement models to value-based quality-driven provider payment arrangements. New Directions provider networks deliver high quality, evidence-based programs and services to employer groups, unions, health plans and federal customers across the country. Prior to her current role, Beth served in leadership roles in customer service, clinical operations, new business and program implementation, strategic development, product innovation, and sales and account management. Beth’s career in the behavioral health industry spans over 35 years delivering health and wellness, commercial, health plan and federal programs through non-profit agencies and MBHOs. Beth has a B.A. in Psychology and Child Development from the University of Missouri and is Project Management Professional certified.
