Linda Donovan-Magdamo is an accomplished leader in non-profit social services, committed to social justice issues and accessibility of services. She currently serves as Chief Program Officer at Resources for Human Development Inc, a non-profit multi-state organization supporting individuals with Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities services. Linda received her MS from Villanova University in Human Organization Science with a concentration in Human Service Administration. Her graduate studies provided a foundation for her collaborative leadership style, her commitment to undertake the complexity of nonprofit administration and her desire to put values into action. She received a BS in Biology from St. Joseph’s University. Her experience at St. Joe’s demonstrated the value of a spirit of curiosity, the benefit of using data to inform decisions, and engagement with thought partners for optimal outcomes.
In her work as CPO, Linda creates an environment where new approaches and information are welcomed, and continuous learning is incorporated into system operations. Respect for team member contributions has enabled Linda to lead diverse and high performing teams through difficult situations, including the Covid pandemic, program expansion, and the national staffing crisis.
Linda has a long-standing connection to RHD. One of the primary drivers of her tenure is the RHD Values along with the corporate commitment to Trauma Informed Care. Respect for the dignity and worth of every individual, multi-level thinking, creativity, diversity, and quality service align with and drive her work.
